All Remark Imaging printer cartridges are made from recycled ink and toner cartridge cores. These cores can take up to 10,000 years to bio-degrade. Empty ink and toner cartridges fill landfills, waste natural resources, impact our environment, and cost our taxpayers millions of dollars. Buying a Remark printer cartridge helps limit landfill waste and promotes pure recycling.
Safe Recycling of Waste Products
Every Remark print cartridge has new components to ensure the highest possible print quality and reliability. Old wiper blades, mag rollers, and other printer cartridge components are cleaned, broken down, and safely recycled to ensure that the plastics and metals in the cartridge do not end up in the landfill. Any cartridge we receive and cannot service or rebuild is also broken down in this manner.
Environmentally-Conscious Packaging
To the fullest extend possible, we use recycled materials in the packaging of our products. We use minimal packaging materials to reduce waste without impacting the safety of the cartridges shipped.
Repurposed Real Estate, Repurposed Equipment
ReMark Imaging does everything possible to live out its environmental philosophy in the workplace. Located in downtown Oshkosh, WI, our retail store and recycling/remanufacturing facility are located in repurposed building to avoid new construction. Fixtures, storage, and non-production machines are either repurposed, used, or purchased as salvage. We use energy-efficient lighting within the building, and rely on natural lighting and an open floor plan to reduce the amount of light necessary in the building. Production schedules are carefully planned to minimize machine uptime, which minimizes energy and fuel use.
